Who challenges Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title after AJ Styles?
The lack of baby-face superstars on SmackDown leaves Daniel Bryan with very few options to defend his title against at WrestleMania after he is done with AJ Styles. Reports suggest it could be Shawn Michaels challenging Daniel Bryan in a ‘Student vs. Teacher’ storyline for the WWE Championship, hopefully giving Daniel Bryan a big rub. However, considering how disappointed Shawn Michaels was with his performance at WWE Crown Jewel, it is unlikely that HBK would come out of retirement again. This leaves only one option for Daniel Bryan and that is: Rey Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio is the kind of superstar who can always make the crowd rally behind him. With the kind of heat Daniel Bryan has been generating recently, Rey Mysterio would make the perfect opponent for Daniel. Besides, it has been a long time since Rey Mysterio fought for the WWE Title.
