After a brutal attack by Bobby Lashley, it seems clear that Kevin Owens will be returning as a baby-face – a side of Owens never witnessed in the WWE before. He could potentially win the Rumble this year to get back into the main event scene, but I believe he shall be reserved as a surprise entrant.
It would be the perfect opportunity for him to eliminate Bobby Lashley and avenge his injury at the hands of the latter, subsequently igniting their feud. Hence, Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley makes more sense going forward compared to Owens fighting for the Universal Title at WrestleMania.
