It’s the 2nd annual Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Although it requires no back-story, the match is more about the surprises and the stipulations involved. The winner gets a shot at one of the marquee matches at WrestleMania, going up against the women’s champion of their choice.
30 women shall enter the ring and the last woman standing will be declared the winner. With the ongoing rivalry between Charlotte, Ronda and Becky, expect either of Charlotte or Becky to win it.
Potential Surprise Entry? Although Becky is involved in the title match, she could still enter the Royal Rumble if she loses. Expect Trish and Lita to come out as surprise entrants, with the duo expected to face Sasha and Bayley at WrestleMania for the Tag Team Titles.
Expected Final 4 Remaining? Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Bayley and Alexa Bliss.
Potential NXT Appearances? Kairi Sane & Shayna Baszler.
Who should win the match? If Becky Lynch appears as a surprise entrant following a loss, she should win this as losing two matches on the same night would dent her momentum drastically. Charlotte could take her out following the match.
Prediction: Both Charlotte and Becky are simultaneously eliminated at the end and declared joint victors.
Match Rating Prediction: 3 out of 5 – This match should be average at the beginning but get better towards the end, especially when Becky and Charlotte are the remaining two.
WrestleMania Prediction: Definitely Ronda vs. Becky vs. Charlotte for the RAW Women’s Championship.
