On Sunday, the 16th of December, WWE will hold the tenth edition of its Tables, Ladders & Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view with a stacked card…

While WWE TLC events are always intriguing because of the spotfest they are, the event itself is just a B-category PPV at best. In fact, this year’s edition looks to be similar, with much of the credit going to RAW’s creative team for their continually lazy writing. Even though the hype for WWE TLC isn’t overwhelming, it’ll still be an attraction for fans because of the focus on tables and ladders, with the destructive possibilities guaranteed to generate some awe-inspiring moments.

However, it’s funny that some of the matches which deserved a TLC stipulation were just relegated to standard slots. The Triangular Tag Team match for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE Intercontinental Title and Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Title are all prime examples of this strange decision-making. On the other hand, Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin get to mix it up with the ladders – which seems daft on paper.

Moving on, this article aims to analyse each match at WWE TLC and forecast the result with the potential rating it could receive.

1. Natalya Neidhart vs. Ruby Riott – Tables Match

A passable affair. They’ve been feuding with each other for a while and with nothing at stake, this match is just meaningless. It’s probably booked to eat some time off the pay-per-view. However, keeping in mind the talent of both performers, this match should still provide entertainment.

Who needs the victory more: Ruby Riot will definitely be more keen on victory. She is an amazing talent, who can hang in there with some of the best. Obviously, Natalya’s abilities cannot be ignored either, but it is time to focus on the next generation and a victory for Ruby Riott at WWE TLC just makes more sense.

Prediction: Ruby Riott wins this one with some help from Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan.

Match Rating Prediction: 2 out of 5 – Should be short and they’ll try to incorporate as many spots as possible.
