4. Finn Balor vs. Drew McIntyre
Personally speaking, this is the best built rivalry on RAW – but is still not of the calibre it should’ve been. David vs. Goliath storylines always work the best for crowds because you have a natural heel and a sympathetic underdog for fans to get behind. McIntyre has undeniably been on fire ever since his debut on the main roster and has been protected fairly well, while Finn Balor is still stuck in limbo despite his popularity.
Who needs the victory more: Being a Balor fan, I might be biased with this one. I really want Finn Balor to win so he can finally begin building some momentum. He’s fallen victim to poor creative writing since his return in 2017 and hasn’t had a single significant victory since his match-up against AJ Styles at WWE TLC last year.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre wins via pin-fall after a hard-fought battle with Finn Balor.
Match Rating Prediction: 4 out of 5 – This could be a potential showstopper given the talent involved. Expect the NXT veterans to pull of a surprise with a Match of the Year candidate.
