10. Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles – WWE Championship
Another match which deserves a TLC stipulation. Sometimes WWE’s decisions really don’t make any sense. I really hope, this one gets to the main event the show because it has been a long while since a WWE Championship match headlined a PPV. However, a Women’s Championship TLC Match as the main event makes perfect sense too. The story is great, the build-up is fantastic and Daniel Bryan seems as motivated as ever.
I don’t expect to see a clean finish here as WWE would want to prolong Daniel vs. AJ for another month or two. This could be a potential MOTY candidate for sure. Expect The Miz to be involved to allow the WWE to start building towards the new generation’s Unlikely Duo of Daniel Bryan & The Miz.
Who needs the victory more: AJ Styles has had his fair share of popularity for the past year and it’s time for Daniel Bryan to shine. Plus with the new heel turn, Daniel Bryan really needs the victory at WWE TLC to build on his moment and add heat to his character.
Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins via pin-fall after some distractions from The Miz.
Match Rating Prediction: 4.5 out of 5. From a technical standpoint, this match should be excellent. Perfect match to the end the night with. Could potentially steal the show.
