9. Samoa Joe vs Jeff Hardy
This feud reminds me of CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy as the story built here is quiet similar. It focuses on Jeff’s history with intoxicants and Samoa Joe has just been typically great on the mic. It does bug me nonetheless that WWE doesn’t promote Samoa Joe as much as he deserves.
We’re all aware of the fact that Joe has always lost the big one in the WWE and to this day, has no championship in his list of accolades. On the other hand, Jeff’s list of achievements is known to all.
Who needs the victory more: Samoa Joe needs it the most due to his consecutive feud losses against Roman Reigns and AJ Styles respectively. Jeff Hardy is almost at the end of his career after doing considerable damage to his body over the years. His legacy alone keeps him relevant regardless of the number of losses he suffers and therefore it should be Joe who should come out victorious at WWE TLC.
Prediction: Samoa Joe makes Jeff Hardy tap out.
Match Rating Prediction: 2 out of 5. Even if this match is booked, it wouldn’t be given considerable time. Also, Jeff Hardy has slowed down a lot in recent years and therefore, this match can’t be as good as it could’ve been five years ago.
