2. The Bar vs. The Usos vs. The New Day – SmackDown! Tag Team Championship
I wonder how amazing this match could’ve been had the WWE realized that it deserved a TLC spot more than Baron Corbin vs. Braun Strowman. It has all the resources to become this generation’s E&C, Dudley Boyz and Hardy Boyz TLC Match. In any case, Vince McMahon seems to have little interest in the tag-team division (especially given the recent booking of The Revival) and this is why triangular tag-team TLC matches have become an extremely rare occurrence.
This match could potentially steal the show if given fifteen-plus minutes. All three teams are in good shape and fuelled by momentum.
Who needs the victory more: From the perspective of booking, The Bar definitely deserves to retain their titles after their embarrassing defeat against The Authors of Pain at Survivor Series.
Prediction: The Bar retains fairly. Expect The New Day to use the no-disqualification stipulation to their advantage by incorporating their third member in the match as well.
Match Rating Prediction: 3.75 out of 5 – Should be fifteen minutes of insane action, with a lot of shenanigans. I’m personally looking forward to this bout as all the competitors involved are tailored for tag-team wrestling.
